The Latest...

Things are crazy as ever here! Noah is actually making a lot of good progress with the potty training. We still have a long way to go but I am hopeful. He only had two accidents in the last couple of days...it might be because he is getting a quarter from Grandpa Smith every time he goes potty. He sure wants that money! He even found some change that I had left on the counter and asked if he could have it if he went potty. Oh well, whatever works!
Nathan is now officially the Scoutmaster. He is overwhelmed but excited to dig right in! I am teaching the 9 and 10 year olds in Primary. Today was my first day with the class and I had forgotten how wild bigger kids are. They don't listen any better than my babies!! It will be lots of fun...I think!
We went to the park again...so that is the slide show for this week. I wish that it was something more exciting but we are poor and it is free...besides the kids LOVE it!

Church can sure wear a kid out...

These pictures are of the kids today after church. Can you tell which one actually went to nursery and played and which one took a nap in priesthood? We thought that maybe the chips would keep Noah awake....I guess we were WRONG!!

Ready for Halloween...

Grandma Conrad sent the kids a Halloween package with lots of candy and these cute flashlights. The kids hid in the closet all afternoon just so they could play with them. They even took them to the park the next day. Aren't they just the cutest kids?

Another fun day together...

So peaceful...

I love Aidan...especially when he is sleeping. He looks so peaceful...even though just minutes before he was screaming. He fell asleep in the highchair twice this week. I couldn't figure out how to make him happy so I thought I would feed him...but he was just so tired that he went to sleep instead!

Bedtime...

Noah was reading a story to Talia before bedtime. I love how he is sitting with his legs crossed and she was totally attentive until we started taking pictures. She was having a lot of fun...just the way to relax them before bed!

Aidan's new trick...

Aidan's favorite thing to do lately is to stand by the tub. He loves to push the soap into the tub and tries to touch the water. Normally, he gets his own bath but he has to stand right there while the big kids get theirs. I had to take these pictures because I love those legs. My favorite part of his legs is the part behind his knees. I decided to put him in the tub with Noah and Talia and before i could get him in he had already pulled himself up and was waiting for me. Hope the bum shot doesn't offend anyone. I think it is pretty cute.

A Day At The Park

Our Jack-O-Lanterns...

We made our jack-o-lanterns for family home evening tonight. Noah says the "happy" pumpkin is Talia's and the "scary" pumpkin is his. They both helped Daddy scrape out the insides. Noah said it was yucky...but he kept helping. It was a lot of fun!

Getting bigger every day...

It seems like Aidan is getting bigger each and every day. He loves to play with all of the same toys that his big brother likes. They are all way to big for him but he doesn't seem to mind. I just wish he would slow down a little. I don't want him to grow up too fast!

Ice Cream Fanatic...

That's right...Aidan LOVES ice cream. Grandpa gave him some ice cream last week and now he can't get enough of it. He is definitely my son if he loves ice cream this much. He will climb over you just to try and get a hold of your spoon!

The COMPLETE Fairytale...

Now the story is complete...a knight to rescue his princess from the evil dragon. We dressed the kids up in their costumes early so that Grandma and Grandpa could see them in person. Noah and Talia loved their costumes...Aidan was not so sure. He was not too happy so we never got a smile out of him. Hopefully, he will like it better on Halloween.

Cute Costumes...

I totally splurged on costumes at A Children's Place for the kids. I don't care what anyone says...it was SOOO worth it! They have to be the cutest kids ever. Noah has insisted on wearing his hat since we got it on Friday!

Climbing the tube...

The kids had so much fun climbing up this tube! They didn't know that we were taking pictures of them...so the smiles are from genuine FUN!!! The tube is sloped and at first they would slide down but soon they figured out how to hold onto the sides and climb up! They had a great time.

My big girl...

Talia loves the slide...but she has to do it BY HERSELF!!! I can't believe she has grown up so fast. She loves to play...and play hard!!! She falls down and just jumps back up...ready for more!

Fun at the park...

We took the kids to the park after church in an attempt to keep them awake since our church gets out so late. They had a lot of fun and we would have stayed a lot longer if someone hadn't put dog poop on the slide...which my kids proceeded to slide into and get poop all over their pants. It looked like they had both had poopy accidents. YUCK!!! I thought Noah looked extra cute in this picture!

Captain Honesty...

Noah got this headband at nursery on Sunday. They learned about not telling lies. Apparently Noah hasn't quite learned the concept yet because if I ask him if he hurt Talia he always says NO...even if I watch him do it. Oh well, he is cute enough that I almost always forgive him!

Our Fun Weekend...

Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Paige, Brinkley, and Makenzi came to visit us for the weekend. We had such a good time. The kids ate pizza like they hadn't eaten for days...which is odd for my picky Noah!

Grandpa's Girl...

Talia loves her grandpa. She loves to sit on his lap. She could barely keep her eyes open as grandpa rocked her. You can tell she is tired because of the way she has her finger looped through her binky. She always does that when she is tired. She is a doll.

VICTORY...sort of...

Its true...Noah went peepee on the potty!!! This is BIG!!! It is officially our first success as far as potty training goes. It was short lived because right after he went in the potty, he went again in his pull-up. Oh well, you have to start somewhere right. I really am so proud of him. You should have seen his face...first he looked entirely confused. But once he realized what had happened, he was so excited. He jumped around and high fived me and Talia. He was really proud of himself. Hopefully it is the start of great things for us! WAY TO GO NOAH!!!

After the game...

After the game, we decided to splurge on a hot chocolate at McDonalds. The kids looked so cute while we were waiting that I had to take their picture. I especially love Talia's face!! I had to take Aidan's picture after we got home because I couldn't get to him in the car.

Littlest Red Devil Fan...

We went to the football game even though it was pouring rain. It was freezing cold but the kids still had fun. Talia was clapping whenever we did something good. I think she is Evanston's newest football fan.

Bundled Baby...

Aunt Ashley sent Aidan this cute "snow suit". We put it on him for the football game on Friday. He looked so chubby in it...he could barely move. He looked so very cute and toasty warm.

Priceless...

I know that we are picking up garbage but I really love this picture. I think it is such a sweet picture of Daddy and his little girl. She looks so small next to him. I think it is priceless.

Worn out...

After all that cleaning the kids got a little tired. They both wanted to ride so we had Noah hold Talia. I thought that they would fight over who got to sit in the stroller but I guess Talia liked sitting on Noah's lap because she never made a peep. Aidan was good too...he even fell asleep...such a good boy!

Our service project...

Our ward had a highway cleanup activity and we took the kids. Noah had a great time picking up garbage. Talia didn't want to do it at first but when her brother does something she has to do it too. We had a lot of fun even though it was cold and windy.

My pretty girl...

I let Talia lick the beaters after we made a cake. I had to take a picture because I think she has a little man mustache going on. She is such a doll!
