Church can wear a girl out...

She just couldn't make it until dinner...she was worn out! She made it through half of nursery. I can't wait to see what happens if she makes it for the whole time!

My Sunbeam...

This is Noah after his first Sunday as a Sunbeam. I think that they taught him to be happy but it was starting to wear off! He really did like his crown...he wore it for at least an hour and a half!

Noah...the photographer...

Noah and Adam had a great time taking pictures of each other taking pictures of everything else. Noah took about twenty pictures...these are some that actually had people in them. He took pictures of the television, the fireplace, part of everybody's Christmas stocking, the garbage can, etc. I think he actually did pretty well considering that he is only three! I think that he actually got a pretty accurate picture of Scott...just kidding!

Happy New Year...

We spent New Year's eve at Tammy and Scott's house. We did fondue...a first for me...and had a lot of fun. We celebrated with the kids at around 8:30 and then they were off to the bathtub and bed. The rest of the grown ups stayed up until the actual New Year...even Rachael! It was a lot of fun!

The home of the Seahawks...

You may not know this but Noah is a professional football player. Who does he play for? Why the Seahawks of course. It was only fitting that we take him to Qwest field to see where he plays! He was so excited until his hands got cold...then he was DONE! It was still fun to see his face despite the yucky weather. Too bad Mommy thought that winter in Seattle was warmer than winter in Wyoming. Not true!

My baby boys...

Which kid is going to be the easier teenager? HMMM! I can't tell for sure but I think Noah has a little more attitude than Aidan. Yes?

Hat too small or head too big...

Tammy bought this hat for Aidan for his first Christmas. His head was too big to get it all the way on so it is just sort of sitting on top. What a cute kid!

The Christmas house...

Nate's parents rented this house for us to use for Christmas. It was right on the beach on Whidbey Island. We had a great time. It was the first time that the whole family had been able to spend Christmas together since 1993. It was fun being able to be together under one roof even if it was only for a couple of days. It was a gorgeous house and the view was spectacular. Can't wait to do it again sometime!

Talia's first shiner...

Talia got her first black eye at Grandma's. She was jumping on the bed...after she had been told not to...and fell and hit her eye on the foot board of the bed. She had a nice bruise that actually looked more like well applied purple and green eyeshadow. It was like a preview of her teenage years...she will be really pretty with makeup!

Finally at Grandma's...

The kids were so excited to finally get to Grandma's house. They really loved the Christmas tree. This was their first experience with a tree that they could actually touch. I put our little tree up high enough so that they can't reach it. As you can see, Aidan loves to look at the lights...or eat the lights...whichever!

At the airport...

We finally got to spend a Christmas in Seattle...one more nice benefit of not working in retail! The kids were so excited to get to the airport so they could see the airplanes. Aunt Tiffy was the BEST and kept them entertained while we waited for our flight. Noah just had to pull his own suitcase. He looked so determined and big as he walked down the terminal! People commented on how cute he was...I have to agree!

Our "early" Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's...

Our Family...

After our train ride, we spent the night in a hotel and exchanged presents. The next day we went to Salt Lake and spent some time with my Aunt Peg and Uncle Walt. We also got to spend some time at Temple Square and see the lights. It is so beautiful...we hadn't seen the lights since Noah was a baby. Aidan was sleeping so we didn't wake him for the picture.

The Polar Express...

The Polar Express...

We took the kids on the Heber Valley Railroad as a Christmas present for Nate and I. It was a snowy weekend and the weather was terrible, but the train ride was so much fun and totally worth all of the money it cost. My whole family was able to come and we made it our family Christmas party. I was so glad that I got to spend that time with all of them. The kids loved it and we did too. They read the Polar Express and sang songs. They gave us hot chocolate and cookies and Santa made a visit on the train and gave the kids a bell. Such a special trip...can't wait to save enough money to ride the train again...maybe in the summer when it isn't so cold.
