My gorgeous girl...

What else can I say...is she cute or what??? I absolutely love this picture. It really shows Talia's true personality. There is nothing better than the sparkle in her eyes when she is happy and smiling. I just love this little girl!!!

Our favorite activity...

My kids love to read and there are always books on the floor to prove it. Aidan is currently in LOVE with his most recent book "The Snarlyhissopus". If you haven't read it, I would highly recommend it. We checked it out from the library and we just had to buy it. Luckily we were able to get it on Ebay because buying it from the store was around sixty bucks (apparently it is out of print). Aidan reads it all day and I read it to him at least 4 or 5 times a day! They look pretty cute...especially when they are sitting still and just "reading"!!!

Talia's one and only ride...

Talia wouldn't ride any of the rides but she really wanted to go on the slide. She was so excited until she realized that she couldn't climb up without some help. Daddy came to her rescue and helped her get to the top. She looked so terrified but when she would make it to the bottom she would smile so big and let out a huge giggle. Nate had a hard time getting up so he wasn't too sad that she was too tired to try again at the end of the night! I was just glad to see her have some fun!

Worth another look...

We tried to get Talia on this ride with Noah and the minute her bum hit the seat she was screaming to get off...so I asked if Aidan could ride even though he was technically too small. Aidan was really excited until I started to walk away so I told Noah to put his arm around him so he wouldn't be scared. I think this is the sweetest picture of my two boys! Noah held him so tight and Aidan just curled right up into his shoulder.

As you can see, Aidan LOVED this ride! I haven't seen a smile that big in quite some time!

He was waving at everyone and even putting his arms in the air and bouncing (which scared me just a little). The lady running the ride gave them an EXTRA long ride! By the end Noah was slightly bored and Aidan could have gone again! What a fun first for my littlest baby!

The carnival...

My favorites...

Now don't pass out but Noah actually TOUCHED a sheep. I didn't know if anyone would believe me so we had to document it. Such a proud moment for this mommy! I thought he would be afraid of everything FOREVER!! I love the look on his face! He was pretty proud of himself too!

Aidan sees the goat and the goat sees Aidan. I love how they are both leaning in towards each other. Aidan squealed and pointed and laughed at any animal he saw! He had such a good time!

Talia and her Grandpa...what more can I say! I love how much she loves her Grandpa! This was one of the few times that she actually slowed down enough to really look at anything. She was having too much fun pushing the stroller she was supposed to be riding in!

Seeing the animals at the county fair...

Almost done...

I love these pictures of my dirty boy! He loved that ice cream!

Aidan and his popsicle...

Here is Aidan enjoying his fudge popsicle! He loved it and we loved watching him! What a funny boy!

Their first popsicles...

Our kids have never had a popsicle...EVER!!! They weren't quite sure what to do with them. Noah and Talia did pretty well until they started melting...then they were done! Not Aidan...he just kept going and going and going...down to the stick. He was a major mess and so was Great Grandma's deck! It was a good thing Adam was with them to show them what to do! Such fun!!

Mr. Sticker-face...

We went to In-N-Out Burger for lunch one day while we were in Reno. The kids each got stickers which automatically went all over their faces and arms. Noah wouldn't take his off so he wore them through his nap and through dinner. Let's just say that by bath time they were really stuck on there. We had to literally rip them off...which he said hurt! After I got them all off he said that maybe he could put them back on after he got out of the tub. He was disappointed to find out that it wasn't going to happen. We promised to find him some more stickers for the next day. He didn't remember and we didn't remind him! It was fun but one day was enough for me!

Happy Birthday...

We got to spend almost a week in Reno visiting Nate's grandparents. We haven't been able to see Great Grandpa Conrad since Noah was just a few months old. We had such a fun visit! I am sure we wore them out...there was a lot of running, screaming, crying, whining, etc. We were able to celebrate their birthday's with them! We are so glad the kids got to spend some time getting to know their great grandparent's! Thanks for putting up with us! We loved it!

In need of prayers...

I am hoping to enlist all of you for some special prayers on our behalf. Nothing is wrong only the possibility of something really great for our family. We have been really worried about finding a larger apartment that we can actually afford...which is really difficult here in Evanston. We found out about some low income townhouses that were being built and so we got on the waiting list as soon as we could. We finally received the application in the mail today and I filled it out as soon as I opened it! I actually neglected the kids and their lunch...not my best mommy moment. Anyway, there are 48 units and over 100 people still interested. I was hoping that you all could keep us in your prayers over the next little while. It is on a first come first serve basis and they have a lot of people that they have to contact to verify that we meet the requirements. We had a really hard time getting our current apartment and would be utterly thrilled to have this new larger one! It has three bedrooms so all of the kids would have a little more space to spread out and play. It has a garage and even a little porch with some grass. It honestly would be a dream come true for us...so...please remember us in your prayers and we will cross our fingers that we have found our next place!
