It begins...

Here is a clip of the kids enjoying the first of MANY winter snowstorms!

A taste of winter...

Snow angels...

Noah loves to make snow angels and he passed this love on to his little brother. They had so much fun and came in soaking wet!

Our first snow...

We officially had our first snowstorm on Friday night and this is what we woke up to on Saturday morning. We held the kids off for most of the morning and finally let them outside to play in the snow after they woke up from their naps. They were so excited! Aidan especially liked it...this was really his first experience with snow. He laughed and ran around just having the best time. They were a little sad to see it start to melt today...they must not be related to me!

Gathering leaves or killing trees...

Noah and Talia were to involved with carrying their water bottles and finding more rocks to really get into gathering leaves...not Aidan! He was having a fantastic time pulling leaves off of the trees! LOTS AND LOTS OF LEAVES!!! It is amazing how fast little hands can move. He was so intent on pulling them off and just dropping them on the ground. Needless to say we have TONS of little leaves that Aidan helped "gather"...hope the tree is okay!

Assume the position...

I am not sure if you are aware but this is the proper position for throwing rocks into the river. Aidan would get up, get more rocks, and get back into this exact position before he would actually throw his rock. I don't know if it improves your distance or if it is strictly about being comfortable but it really worked for Aidan!

A lazy Sunday evening...

We had been cooped up all week and decided to take the kids on a drive on Sunday evening. We drove down the Mirror Lake byway until we reached a campground just a bit past the Utah border. We told them we were going to go find fall leaves but they found the rocks instead. They had SO much fun throwing rocks in the river...we had to drag them away to go look for leaves.
We tried so hard to get a picture of all three of the kids but Aidan refused to stop throwing rocks so we only got Noah and Talia. Still a cute picture of the big kids!
Aidan gets so excited when he throws things...balls, rocks, anything! We got lucky and caught him during one of his moments of joy! He is such a fun little boy!

Here's our new place...

Here is a picture of our new apartment! We have an end unit and we are so excited! The front yard will have sod soon. They have been laying sod on some of the lower units and our should be put in by next week! We signed our lease today and we can move in on the 15th of this month. We got to snoop around another unit that is exactly like ours and we really liked it! It is so much nicer than what we have had...made me wish we could move today!
Here is the view from our front door...doesn't look like much but that is the High School and Nate can cut across that field and walk right to work! There is already a trail there...it will make it easy to get to school and leave us with a car in case I dare to brave a trip out on the town all on my own!
