One week old...

Here he is...ONE week old! Can you believe it has already been a week? Asher is such a cute little boy, just like the rest of the kids! He has had problems with jaundice and has had to be on the bili lights but he is done as of today! Today is the first day that he has actually had jammies on! I just love to hold him and kiss him...I could do it all day!

He's finally here...

He is finally here...Asher Jack Conrad!!! He is PERFECT and healthy and so very loved...especially by his biggest brother! He was born on November 17, 2008 at 3:22 p.m. He weighed in at 6 lb. 8 oz. and was 20 inches long. He struggled to get here and we are so grateful that everything turned out okay! We thought that it would be a normal delivery but he wasn't able to get turned fully head down so we had to have an emergency c-section.
Everything went extremely fast but smooth. He is a good little baby and we are so excited to add him to our family. Thanks to everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I know that our prayers were answered yesterday!

Just for you Miss Amy...

While I am wholeheartedly opposed to taking pictures of myself when I am roughly the size of a barn, I also care about the needs of my friends. So with that in mind, this is just for you Amy. Here is a picture of the belly...only 8 or 9 days to go! There...I hope you are happy!

Nine years...

Well here we are nine years later! Today is our ninth anniversary...can you believe it? We are fatter and happier than the day we got married. I am sure glad I convinced this guy to marry me and now I have tricked him into having four kids so there is no way he can get out now! I really am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He is so good to me and you couldn't buy a better father. Yes...life is good!

Our new home...

Here are some pictures of our new place. I really thought Nate might wait and take pictures when the WHOLE house was clean and orderly. Sorry for the mess but hey what do you do when you are supposed to be on bed rest! We really love it here and are so grateful to have this new home. Someday we will get it all unpacked and put away...wish that day was today! Oh well...

Random pictures I enjoy...

I just enjoy how peaceful Aidan looks when he is sleeping. He still looks like my baby which is nice because the minute he wakes up he is so grown up. I just love this little boy!
These are the times when I know that Noah is growing up. He looks so much like his Daddy when he stands like that. I have seen Nate stand like that a hundred times. Where does the time go?
Great Grandma Couch sent us a package with goodies for the new baby and hats for each of the kids. Talia loves to wear hers even in the house where it is warm. We just loved this picture of her! She is such a fun girl...so very special!

Halloween 2008...

Here are the kids right before we went trick-or-treating! We really didn't have the money to buy new costumes so we were able to improvise and borrow (thanks for the Mickey costume Tammy) and I think they looked pretty cute. Everyone kept telling us how cute our little Mickey Mouse was...I have to agree. Of course our football player and princess were darn cute too. We had a lot of fun and were home and finished by 5:30 p.m. I love that Halloween is easy when the kids are little!

Our pumpkins...

Here are our pumpkins for Halloween. We made these bats...one for each kid. They named them Big Bat (Noah's), Little Bat (Talia's), and Baby Boy Bat (Aidan's). Nate helped the kids carve the pumpkins that my mom bought for us...thanks Grandma! I tried to take some pictures of the action but I seriously need lessons on how to use Nate's camera. They all came out blurry so all you get is a picture of Noah with the finished product. None of the other kids would stand with him to take the picture. You have to love toddlers and their attitudes!

The "bat" cookie...

Noah and I made sugar cookies. He wanted to make a bat shaped cookie all by himself. Here is what he came up with. We all think it looks like an airplane pilot's wings but he is sure it is a bat. He was so proud and had to have Daddy take a picture of him eating his cookie. He is such a fun kid and getting so grown up!

Daddy's walk home...

Here is what Daddy sees on his way home from work...the kids love to wait by the window to see him coming!

Aidan and Minnie...

Meet Minnie...she is my dad's dog. Talia loves Minnie but only from a distance and Noah is pretty much terrified but Aidan is a different story. He LOVES Minnie and he loves to love on her!
He loves to pet her and say, "puppy is cute". She loves the attention and he loves to give it. It really is so cute to see them together!

We love birthday cake...

We went to Grandma's house to celebrate Makenzi's birthday and boy do my kids enjoy birthday cake...especially my Aidan!
