Jetty Island...

The kids were having fun playing together...at least that is what I thought until I saw Aidan's face! Have you ever seen such a grouchy face? What a kid!

Daddy helped get Grandma out of the sand!
Grandma got stuck! That sand just sucked you down!!

Aidan loved the beach! He ran all over and never seemed to get tired! He was the only one of our kids that didn't complain the whole time we were there. Unlike his older brother who complained A LOT...about EVERYTHING...especially the seaweed. We don't like GREEN stuff!! Typical Noah!!
Asher's first time feeling the wet sand! He wasn't too sure about it!
Sandcastles...

Lunch time!
Asher met a girl...a CUTE girl. He liked her and she liked his crackers! Match made in heaven??? Possibly...
It is hard work impressing the ladies!
Nate and Scott headed out to play a little catch. It wasn't too long before the boys had joined them! It was really cute to watch them playing together. I wish Adam lived closer so we could play like this more often!
Aidan loves to play soccer and was so excited to get a little one on one time with his Daddy!
Noah had to join in on the soccer game!

Building the fort with Adam!
We had such a fun day at Jetty Island!

The ferry...

We took the kids to Jetty Island for the day! They were excited to play on the beach. It was a pretty cloudy day and I was a little worried that it would be too cold but it ended up being pretty much perfect! It warmed up just enough to be comfortable and not too hot unlike the miserable few days we spent when we first got to Washington! Here are the kids on the ferry to the island. It was a whopping 3 minute ride but they still thought it was pretty cool!

Singing and dancing...

We took the kids to a concert at the library while we were in Seattle. It was so much fun watching the kids dance and laugh. They were excited that they got to go with Adam! Even Grandpa and Daddy made it back from the fishing trip and were able to come!! What a fun day!

Crazy...

Nate's fish was bigger than our baby! I mean a lot bigger than our baby...and that was the small fish! CRAZY!!

Fishing in Canada...

The boys went on a three day fishing trip in British Colombia for Nate's dad's birthday! I thought they might be roughing it a little more than they were! Apparently it was an extremely nice resort...nice enough that the girls are invited next time! They had a lot of fun and brought home some BIG salmon! I have honestly never seen fish that big! Nate was just glad to get to spend time with his dad and brothers! Thanks for the trip Dad!!

Grandpa's surprise party...

We had a 60th birthday party for Grandpa Conrad the day after we got to Seattle! The kids were having so much fun playing that we could barely talk them into stopping to eat. I was surprised that my kids actually ate as well as they did. They really liked the chicken! I think that they were trying to keep up with Adam...nothing like a little peer pressure! It was a fun party and the food was delicious!!

At the playground...

Getting some loves from Grandma!

Here is Asher's first time on the swing. At first he wasn't quite sure about it but it didn't take long for him to start giggling! I think he will be a swing lover for sure!!

The Oquirrh Mountain temple open house...

Asher loved the fountains! He was all smiles as he watched the water!

We were able to take our family to the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house in Salt Lake. I was worried that the kids would misbehave but they were really good and were so interested in the different rooms in the temple. Noah and Talia asked a lot of questions. It was fun to teach them some important things about the gospel in a different setting. Noah really liked the "wedding room" (sealing room) and Talia and Aidan really liked the baptistry. Aidan really liked the "cows"! It was really neat to feel the spirit there and see the way that it affected our kids! It was a really special day and made me so happy to know that this little family is mine forever.

Walk and splash...

Here is our way of using a slip and slide! We call it walk and splash....with some cry and scream! We only let them go in their undies on special occasions!!

The team...

The official picture of "Grandpa's Team"!!

Bender guy...

Noah calls the catcher "bender guy"...because he bends down to catch the ball. Here is Aidan being the catcher. I love how he puts his glove right up to his face. He looks out through the holes in the mitt! It is the funniest thing! I love this kid!!

Baseball at the park...

The kids played a baseball game with Great Grandpa Conrad...even Great Grandma helped too!! It was so much fun and I think the kids would have played all night if we didn't stop them before they wore Grandma and Grandpa out! It was a special day for our kids to get some time with family that we don't get to see often enough!
