Mr. Big Stuff...

I was making dinner the other night and looked out and saw this! Nate had propped Asher up on a cushion and had him sitting straight up! He really liked sitting up and seeing everything! We just had to keep a good eye on Aidan to make sure he didn't pull him off the couch! We really need to get the bouncy chair out of storage!

Our latest battle wounds...

Aidan fell AGAIN...I think he hit the corner. I am not sure what happened but it sure looks rough!
Noah got his first official black eye. He was involved in a wild game of tag after the baptism on Saturday. He took an elbow in the eye! He took it like a man and just wanted to get back in the game!
Talia wasn't injured but you can't take the boys' pictures without getting one of her! She is such a fun girl!

Congratulations Alex and Austin...

Our nephews, Alex and Austin, were baptized this past Saturday! We were so excited to be around and able to attend their baptism. We are so proud of them and know that they will be great young men in this church. What good examples they are of making the right choices! Thanks for letting us be a part of your day! We are very proud of you both!

Fun family time...

We had so much fun just being together as a family this holiday. Thanks to Grandma for watching Asher so that I could go spend time with everybody! These were great memories and I am so glad we got to be together! Isn't family what it is all about?

Tubing with the whole family...

Thanks to many a snowstorm, we had plenty of snow to go tubing during the holidays. Brady and Sarah brought two tubes and Dad had one. We spent two days tubing and had a blast. It was the kid's first time really playing in the snow and I think they had a great time! Grandpa brought the four-wheeler and hauled all the little people back up the hill. It was cold and windy and I don't think we could have had more fun! Here is a video of me, Noah, and Talia on the hill!

Aidan's turn on the hill...

Here is Aidan's first time tubing! I thought he might be a little scared but he went down with anyone who would take him! Such fun!

Asher's first Christmas...

I looked all over town for a cute "baby's first Christmas" outfit for Asher to wear on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the choices are slim here in Evanston. We basically have Walmart and...oh yeah...Walmart. Needless to say I was not lucky but my sister, Ashley, is a wonderful shopper. She found this cute little reindeer outfit and said it was a must! So I trusted her like always and she was right! Is he not the cutest little reindeer you have ever seen? Also...check out those skinny little legs. I had to get a picture with his slippers from Santa!

Christmas morning...

Santa brought Noah everything he asked for...Iron Man and Spiderman slippers. He also got a Bumblebee transformer! He was in heaven all day!

Talia asked for a puppy and I am so glad that Santa went for the stuffed variety. She also got a tea set which she absolutely loved! She was happier than she looks!
Aidan got slippers too...Lightning McQueen which was pretty cool but I think he liked Grandpa's bag of Cheeto's better!
Here they are...THE Spiderman slippers! Aren't they awesome?

Waiting for Santa...

Here they are all jammied up and ready for Santa to make his visit! They all slept on the floor together in the beds that Grandma and Grandpa gave them! They watched The Polar Express before they went to bed and were excited for the fat man to bring their stuff!

Christmas Eve...

We were able to spend our Christmas break with my family this year. We had such a good time and loved being able to spend time with everyone...except Brady, Sarah, and the boys! We ate too much good food and let everyone else enjoy our kids! The kids LOVED playing with everybody...especially the cousins! We were extremely spoiled and the kids started to get bored because there were so many presents to open! Thanks to all the grandma's, grandpa's, aunt's, uncle's, and cousin's for all of the wonderful gifts! We are so grateful for the love you showed our family this holiday!

Making klaner...

Every year we make a Christmas cookie called klaner and every year the kids want to help. This year we let them! Notice that they used their toy rolling pin! They had a lot of fun and we made a TON of cookies. It is a fun tradition that I am glad the kids are getting big enough to enjoy!
Nate takes them to school and usually they are gone before we know it! This year I ate a TON and they were gone before I knew it! He took them to school but there were plenty left for me to hoard! I am so glad we don't make these more than once a year...my diet can't handle it!

Christmas comes early...

Tiffiny gave the kids personalized bean bag chairs for one of their Christmas presents. Since they would have taken up all of the room in the van, we let the kids open them a week early so they could enjoy them a little before we headed to Idaho! They loved them and they are constantly out in the middle of the living room! Thanks for spoiling them Aunt Tiff!

Asher's first month...

Here is a collection of pictures of Asher's first month in our family. I am in love with the pictures of Aidan holding him. You would have to see his eyes to see how much he loves this new brother! It is precious! I love the pictures of the boys climbing in the window of my hospital room. It takes a lot to entertain three little kids in a small room! Glad we had the window! Such great memories for me...
This past month has flown by and I am a little sad that it is going so fast. I get a little misty eyed looking at these pictures...where does the time go!

One month old...

So...I am extremely behind on my posts as of late! I will just blame it on this guy and a little bit of sleep deprivation! Here is a picture of my little Asher on his one month "birthday". I can't believe time is going so fast! I must admit I am totally in love with this little boy! He is such a special little soul and I am grateful everyday that he joined our family! What a blessing for this mommy!
