Every year Evanston hosts a free kids fishing day. Last year we missed it but this year we actually made it! The kids were so excited to go. Talia dressed up in one of her good skirts just for the occasion! Just kidding...she pretty much only wears skirts these days! The fishing kept their attention for about a half an hour and then Noah was the only one still interested! The other two spent the rest of the time throwing rocks and playing in the dirt and Asher just snoozed right through it all! They got free hot dogs and soda for lunch. We were excited to find out that they got to keep their fishing poles as their gift for coming! It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning!

What a great event! and bonus that the kids got to keep the fishing poles. Recently Jenna has been into fishing. We've been letting her fish without a hook. She just loves to wind the line back up, so we figure for now it keeps her happy :)
It is so fun to see all of your cute kids growing up!
