We live in firework central so you can't NOT purchase some. I think it might be a law or something! We bought fountains, sparklers, roman candles for Nate, and flowers for me. We had spent part of the weekend in Boise for a special baby blessing but we promised the kids we would come home in time for fireworks. Aidan hates them but we did finally talk him into coming outside and watching for a minute. The kids loved the sparklers...especially Asher! Talia was brave and did some roman candles on her own! It was a lot of fun and I was glad that Grandma was there to help me with all the little hands so no one lost a limb to fire!

This summer Adam wore a set of Scott's shooting ear muffs and it was great he was outside the entire time we did fireworks, you may want to try that with Asher get him a set of junior hearing protection ear muffs.
